BQE COMPLETE THE DESIGN OF THE NEW HARBOR VIEW INN HOTEL IN SANTA BARBARA

BQE has successfully completed the structural design of a brand new three-story Harbor View Inn Hotel located in Santa Barbara.

The hotel is located at the corner of Harbor and State Street right across from the Santa Monica pier.

The structural system is supported on concrete piles with a three-story steel braced frame.  The floor system utilizes a composit deck spanning over fifteen feet.

The structure was designed using state-of-the-art computer software to allow it to resist large lateral loads during furture earthquakes.
