BQE COMPLETES THE SEISMIC RETROFIT OF A 100,000 SQ. FEET HOSPITAL BUILDING IN SAN PEDRO

APRIL 2000

BQE has successfully completed the seismic retrofit of a five-story hospital building, Harbor View House.

The project, which started soon after Northridge earthquake in 1994, was completed in three phases. Over 90% of the project design and construction costs were paid by FEMA under their HMGP Program.

BQE assisted Harbor View House with FEMA grant, engineering services and construction management.
